The staff and owners of the East Chatham Food Company have worked diligently to offer a blend of what we remember along with an inspiring breath of fresh air in our little hamlet. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.
We had a terrific experience last night! We were 4 adults and a 2 year old toddler. We ordered the toddler's pasta and meatballs first and it came out served on a toddler-proof plate with toddler-safe utensils!
Waitress was very friendly. Food was excellent. One order will full you up. The BLT sandwich is very big and tastes really good. The mac & cheese was perfect. Also the chicken tenders with fries are perfect also. Next time I'm visiting I make sure to stop here.
It's so nice to have our local eatery back up and running. Most of us who have lived in and around East Chatham for any length of time fondly remember the old yellow "Cottage Restaurant" as the meeting place for a quick cup of coffee and and a bite or a place to stop by for supper to go.
We all had appetizers and entrees and our entire bill was under $100. Not bad for 5 people.
The atmosphere was a great mix of locals and weekenders.
I use to work here back when it was the cottage restaurant. Very pleased to say not much has changed, and the food is just like Cathy T. Had us make. Please do not believe the couple bad reviews. They are made up by people that are looking for the attention they lack at home.
You will notice the ever growing number of patches and insignia that are proudly displayed on the entry walls that have been left by the many emergency responders, firefighters, and police agencies who have visited the establishment. Trust me, these people know where to find great food!
I had the special iced tea. And it was delicious, herby, and sweet!
That was our second visit and we will definitely be back soon!
Ate here for the first time recently and loved it so much. Will come back often. Friendly service, and fabulous food. My wife had a wonderful wild fish of the day, while my chicken pot pie was as good as any I've ever had.
